Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Tenderloins

Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Season chicken tenderloins with garlic powder, chicken bouillon, cayenne pepper, Montreal steak seasoning, olive oil, and a little bit of lime juice. Mix well to ensure chicken is fully coated.

Prepare the dry batter: In a bowl, combine about 1 cup of plain panko breadcrumbs with the same dry seasonings used for the chicken. Add about half a cup of seasoned Italian breadcrumbs and mix.

Prepare the wet batter: In a separate bowl, whisk 1 whole egg with 1/4 cup of water until well combined.

For battering the chicken: First, coat each chicken tenderloin thoroughly in the dry breadcrumb mixture. Then dip it into the egg/water mixture. Finally, return it to the dry breadcrumbs, making sure to pack the breadcrumbs onto the chicken firmly.

Cook the breaded chicken in the preheated air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, ensuring the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Plate and serve immediately.
