Slow-cooked jerk pulled pork, seasoned with salt, chicken bouillon, jerk marinade, and white pepper, then finished with sautéed onions and its own juices, perfect for sandwiches or tacos.
1. Pat pork shoulder dry.
2. Add the pork to your pot, and season with salt, chicken bouillon, jerk marinade (can get it at your local Walmart). White pepper is optional. Add enough water until it almost covers the pork.
3. Tie one bunch of green onions and one small bunch of parsley together and add to the pot.
4. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours (make sure to flip pork halfway through).
5. Once the pork is done, it should be really tender, shred it. Make sure to save a little bit of the juice.
6. Add the pot back on the stove, on medium-high heat.
7. Add a little bit of olive oil, add the pork back in. Add julienned/sliced onions then add the juice you should have saved.
8. Adjust your season with the same seasonings used to slow cook the pork.
9. Use for sandwiches, tacos, etc.
